I have been using this tool from Microsoft for a couple of months now and have found it very useful. It is a social networks plugin for Outlook, just download the app (http://bit.ly/bRVDmk) and then install the plugin’s for the social networks that you use and your done. Using the Facebook plugin you get to see the Facebook profile thumbnail, if they have one that is linked to this email address, and the option to send an invite on Facebook. You also get a summary of all the email communications, making it easy to find older messages or attachments. All of this from within Outlook.
MS Office 2010 Update
With Microsoft Office 2010 Home and Business you get Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
However with the retail box you are permitted to install the software on your primary computer AND laptop.
Here is a quote from the Microsoft Office website “the retail license terms allow you to install, activate, and use Office Home and Business 2010 or Office Professional 2010 on your primary PC and your portable device such as your laptop. This license is for your use exclusively.”
Microsoft Office 2010 gets cheaper
With the new version of Microsoft Office 2010 only being released in June, retailers are already offering discounts on the retail box versions. The sales of the cheaper PKC (product key cards) option have yet to take off as only new computers have the software pre-loaded and no media kit is available yet.
